COURTING AMERICA: USING COURT RECORDS FOR GENEALOGY
It is no secret among genealogists that court records are among the most valuable and versatile records that can be found to help flesh out a family’s history. From jury lists to loose papers filed with the courts, these are records that can help us document family relationships, life events, community happenings and more.

Cost: Members can attend this meeting at no additional cost. Guests may attend for a $10 entry fee at the door.
Presenter: Judy G. Russell, The Legal Genealogist®, is a genealogist with a law degree who provides expert guidance through the murky territory where law and family history intersect. An internationally-known lecturer and award-winning writer, she holds credentials as a Certified Genealogist® and Certified Genealogical Lecturer® from the Board for Certification of Genealogists® and is a Fellow of the Utah Genealogical Association.
