Launa Tierney - "The Pasta Lady"  shares her passion for family traditions, stories, and culinary journeys at Homemade Pasta Noodles in the Historic 7th Avenue District of Hendersonville.
For the presentation, Laura plans to discuss the first Italian person in her family to enter the U.S., followed by three other entries, detailing their reasons for coming and how they established their lives in America. I will also touch on the progression of our Italian customs, traditions, and food, and how these elements influenced my path to where I am today. Our journey will span from Southern Italy, Sicily, New York, West Virginia, and Detroit, to North Carolina.
Her mother, Theresa Marie Fazzolari, will be joining her. She will also bring a selection of family photos, including her Family Photo Memoir which hangs in the shop, and the person who created it, Kathy Wolfe.
